On April 7, heads and representatives of registrars of national (ccTLD) and
new (new gTLD) top-level domains from Russia, the CIS and Europe will arrive in
Moscow to attend events marking the 25th anniversary of TLD .RU. They will
participate in a private roundtable discussion where they will talk about the
role of top-level domain registries in the development and management of the
internet, as well as review IDN development initiatives and outline a joint
plan to support Universal Acceptance in our region.

The 10th Russian Internet Governance Forum will be followed by the RIPE NCC Day conference on April 9, which will be held on the same platform (8 bld.2, Novinskiy Blvd., Moscow 121099, Russia). RIPE NCC Day is part of a series of regional meetings that are regularly held by RIPE NCC in cooperation with key managers in the global and local internet industry
in different countries.
RIPE NCC Day in Moscow will be held as part of events marking the 25th anniversary of the .RU domain and will bring together well-known technical experts from Russia and Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia. It will provide the opportunity for network engineers and other participants to share knowledge and experience and discuss opportunities for regional cooperation.
The event will be held in Russian and English with simultaneous translation provided. Participation is free. The meeting is open to anyone and organized with support from the Coordination Center for TLD .RU/.РФ.
